With over 600 species of birds recorded, along with over 4,000 species of flowering plants including a huge variety of Orchids.

Sachem is yet another spot rapidly gaining a reputation as a Botanist's paradise and with the introduction of eco-tourism, including serious birding; this region has begun to focus on enterprise-based conservation which we are keenly supporting.
