Compared to Expedition peaks the regulations pertaining to trekking peaks are relatively simple. A permit is required which is issued by the Nepal Mountaineering Association on payment of the royalty fee (for more information a Royalty list is available on this page).

The outlined itineraries listed in our menu are two examples of trekking peaks which are achievable with a reasonable degree of climbing technique, Mera peak is the easiest requiring little more than determination. It should be remembered, any trekking peak, regardless of its difficulty demands respect and can be dangerous in poor weather conditions.

A challenging trek, the Island Peak trek is a fantastic mountain experience amongst the highest peaks in the world. Our unique itinerary takes you into the high valleys of the Khumbu region, land of the Sherpas, providing magnificent views of the awesome Khumbu peaks as you acclimatize for the trekking ahead.

Mera Peak - 6640 m - 19 days

Mera Peak is one of the most popular climbing and trekking peaks of Nepal . An ascent up this 6654m peak is said to be fairly easy. Standing erect at an altitude of 6654m, Mera peak is the most popular trek destination for a majority of climbers and is the highest trekking peak of Nepal.

Kongma Tse - 5849 m - 21 days
Formerly renowned as Mehra Peak or simply Mehra, Khongma Tse stands tall at a height of 5,849 meters. It rises to the north of Kongma La and stands above the Khumbu Glacier opposite of Lobuje.

Pokalde - 5806 m - 17 days
Pokalde Peak rises to the north of the Kongma La above the Khumbu glacier opposite Lobuche. Lying at a relatively low altitude, Pokalde provides its climbers an interesting and adventurous trekking experience.

Chulu East - 6584 m - 24 days
Chulu East (6200 m) is situated high above the Manang valley with breathtaking views across to the Annapurnas II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu. The climb is combined with the classic trek around the Annapurna massif, ascending the Marshyangdi valley and crossing the Thorung La, before descending the Kali Gandaki valley to Pokhara.

Tharpu Chuli / Tent Peak - 5663 m - 15 days
The trek that starts from Phedi after a short drive of about 45 minutes from Pokhara, takes you to the Annapurna Sanctuary, the most spectacular high mountain amphitheatre, through charming Gurung villages and rhododendron forests. A chance to ascend Tent peak [5600m.], also known as Tharpu Chuli, and exploration of Annapurna sanctuary are the major highlights of this trip.

Lobuche East - 6119 m - 8 days
This is a classic trek to Lobuje Peak, one of the highest trekking peaks in Nepal. Lobuje, also spelt as Lobuche, has two distinct summits, Lobuje East [6,119 m] and Lobuje West [6,145 m]. Though they are connected by a continuous ridge, there is a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. This trek takes you to the East Peak; in order to trek to the Lobuje West you need an Expedition permit.
