Day 1: Kathmandu
A breathtaking flight, into Kathmandu valley over majestic scenes of the Himalayas . You will be picked up by our airport representative and transferred to your hotel, where he/she will help you with check in formalities. Once you have had time to unwind and refresh, your tour consultant will brief you on your forth-coming trip. Depending on your flight, you will then have the rest of the day to unwind, relax and soak in the sights and sounds of Kathmandu .
Day 2: Excursions to Kathmandu & Patan cities
After an early breakfast, we visit the major places of interest in Kathmandu , like Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath (monkey temple), Patan Durbar square, Mahaboudha temple, Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna temple, Golden temple amongst many others.
After your visit to these myriad spots of historic and cultural icons of Kathmandu , you will be chauffeured back to the relaxed ambience of your hotel.
Please note, that all places mentioned here are in no particular order. Your Tour Consultant on your arrival will brief you on the actual day to day events and order of visits. This is because timings of certain areas may change, or, local festivals or events of interest may occur on that particular day, which your Tour consultant may feel is of interest to you, to visit.
Day 3: Pokhara – valley of lakes
After a hearty breakfast, you fly to Pokhara which is 200 km away from Kathmandu . On reaching Pokhara, you will be escorted to your hotel.
Pokhara will mesmerize you, with its majestic sight of snow-capped mountain peaks and exquisite beauty. Rest of the day, is yours, to relax, unwind or better yet explore lake side at Phewa Tal and soak in the ambiance that is uniquely, Pokhara.
Day 4: Jomsom & Muktinath temple
After an early breakfast, transfer to airport for our flight to Jomsom. This exhilarating flight is one flight you will never forget. Jomsom is the gateway to treks to Manang, Muktinath and the fabled Mustang, the old Lo kingdom.
From here, we take a jeep sojourn to the Muktinath shrine, near the headwaters of the Jhong River , a tributary of the Kali Gandaki in the north-eastern corner of Thak Khola, a dry trans-Himalayan valley in Nepal ’s Mustang District.
We spend some time at the temple complex and visit the other areas of interest in this area before heading back to our hotel in Jomsom. Try out some of the famous apple brandies of the region.
Day 5: Pokharas’ hot spots
After breakfast we fly back to Pokhara. We then visit the hot spots of Pokhara and it’s environ. Late afternoon relax and unwind in many of Pokharas exotic pubs.
Day 6: Lumbini
After a hearty breakfast, we depart for Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace, compassion, and non-violence. It is situated in Kapilavastu District of Lumbini Zone the western Terai of Nepal, 250 km southwest of Kathmandu .
Today is a long drive and on arrival we check in to our hotel and relax.
Day 7: Excursions
After breakfast we take a leisurely tour of Lumbini and the spiritual ambiance of this most holy and venerated of all spots. Later in the afternoon take an excursion tour to Bhairahwa, to get a feel of Nepals ’ border town
Day 8: Chitwan national park
After breakfast, we depart for Chitwan national park. On arriving there, after welcome drinks / refreshment check in to our rooms to refresh and rest for a while. Later in the day the parks naturalist will brief us on our trip and schedule of events, before proceeding for our jungle activities.
Day 9: Jungle activities
As per schedule, today we spend time inside the park, taking part in various activities from elephant safari, bird watching, jungle walks, visit to a local tribal village , to canoeing on the Rapti river to see its wild life. Later in the evening we watch a culture program and interact with the local Tribals.
Day 10: Nagarkot
After a hearty breakfast, we depart for Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a small hill station on the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley , with fabulous views of Nepals ’ might giants. From here some of the best sunsets / sunrises are visible. Relax and unwind on arrival. Optionally, short walks to the nearby village are possible.
Day 11: Bhaktapur & Kathmandu
After breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu . Enroute we spend the morning visiting the most unchanged and medieval of the three cities – Bhaktapur. Here you will feel time has stood still and Bhaktapurians are still living a life that dates a hundred years back.
Day 12: Free day
Time on your own, finally! You can use this day, to relax in the comforts of your hotel, explore the alleys of Kathmandu valley and do some souvenir hunting. Ask your Tour consultant, where bargains can be had, and latest events taking place or other spots of interest.
Day 13: Departure transfer
Our Nepalese support team will take you to the airport for your flight home.

Baisakh Poornima
(April – May) As Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the light of Asia, the triple anniversary of Buddha's birth, enlightenment and death is observed with many colorful ceremonies on this day. It is a national holiday. People celebrate the occasion with great veneration paying homage to Buddha at places like Swoyambhunath and Lumbini. |
