This extremely scenic and easy trek starts from Phobjikha valley at 3000 m, it is one of the few glacial valleys in Bhutan and is the chosen home of the rare Black -Necked Cranes which migrate here in the winter from Tibetan plateau in the North.
The valley of Gangtey is one of the most beautiful places in Bhutan and is home to the many centuries-old Gangtey monastery. The trek passes through meadows, mixed forests of Juniper & Magnolia and visits the charming and ornate villages of Gogona and Khotokha on route. It is considered to be one of the finest low altitude treks in Bhutan. |

Day 2: Paro sightseeing - drive to Thimphu . (B, L, D)
Day 3: Thimphu full day's sightseeing. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Drive to Gangtey – camp. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Gangtey - Gogona - commence trek. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Gogona – Khotokha (B, L, D)
Day 7: Khotokha - Chuzomsa - end trek. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Drive to Paro. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Paro - Trek to Tiger's Nest. (B, L, D)
